Transforming a Website into a Powerful Sales Tool

The Challenge

AMI Strategies, a provider of cutting-edge technology expense management solutions, faced the challenge of having an outdated website that didn’t effectively showcase their expertise and service offerings. This was causing potential clients to struggle to understand the full range of services offered, and therefore limiting the company’s ability to grow their customer base.

The Outcome

We modernized their website’s visual design and expanded their brand assets, introducing custom motion graphics and bringing a much more contemporary edge to the brand’s appearance.

In addition we developed a suit of sales tools including an online and interactive presentation tool with infographics to allow their sales team to have more adaptable presentations that can be tailored to the conversation on the fly.

We also helped create a branded merch e-commerce store aimed at giving more choices for external and internal promotional items.

While building the site we focused on setting it up in a way where they could manage and update the content of the site internally. We helped in this through a more meaningful and simple backend setup, as well as helpful and bite-sized tech support Loom videos.

The updated website and added visuals have brought clarity and engagement to AMI’s website. This led to improved user engagement, a concise presentation of services, and a notable increase in consultation requests. Our custom sales tools not only effectively conveyed their message but also elevated the visibility of AMI’s services.

AMI offers vendor expense management to large enterprises through a suite of AI-powered solutions that bring expense and device analytics to life. They need to be trusted by companies to handle their important financial systems.

Their problem was that their website was outdated, difficult to update and was not effectively communicating the extent of their expertise and service offerings. This made it hard to use the website as a sales tool, and with a dispersed team of sales agents, this was an issue that was starting to get in the way of the business’s growth. We knew that to help them achieve their goals, we needed to revamp the website and give them the tools to manage their online presence more efficiently.

Our approach was to focus on both the visual design of the website and the underlying technology.

We started with a restructuring of their site’s page architecture to consolidate the number of pages and to better convey their message.

We worked closely with AMI so we could better understand their complex offerings to design a website that was easy to navigate and presented their services clearly and concisely.

We also provided them with a back-end setup that was more user-friendly for them to maintain and update, making it easier for them to update their website with minimal assistance.

To make the site an adaptable sales tool, we created infographics, animations, and a custom presentation tool to effectively convey AMI's services and capabilities to their audience.

These tools helped increase the visibility of their services and provided a more engaging way to communicate their message.

The presentations were particularly important as it gave AMI Strategies the ability to have a consistent message and tool for their sales reps and avoid having "Franken-decks" with people tweaking and getting off brand.

We developed a fully custom online presentation tool that allows using more interactive components and linking in ways that PowerPoint simply can’t.

The online presentations include custom animations, popups, and other interactive elements that provide more information to dive into on a single slide, allowing for a more conversation-style presentation with potential customers.

We created the presentation plugin with AMI’s needs in mind, so the process was a collaboration between our two teams. We worked closely with AMI Strategies to understand their services and target audience and how best to communicate with them.

After launch of the main site, we helped create a branded merch store.

This portion of the site was meant to offer internal employees and external partners the opportunity to choose their own merch, rather than be given a predetermined shirt or water bottle for example.

We connected print-on-demand providers to allow for zero need for inventory.

The Payoff

AMI was struggling to convey their services and expertise due to a lackluster website, but with a redesign and powerful sales tools, they are now effectively reaching their audience.

The new website and the additional visual aids have resulted in much clearer messaging and an engaging online presence for AMI. As a result, AMI’s website is now much easier to navigate, presents its services in a clear and concise way, and has seen an increase in consultation requests. The sales tools we created for them provided an effective way to communicate their message and helped increase the visibility of their services.

The ability to easily update the site internally has allowed them to continually test their messaging, resulting in a fine-tuned connection to their ideal customers.
